The agents will be there soon and you don’t want to keep them waiting.”
I nodded, “Ok Sir.”
“Oh...and Sapphire.”
”Yes Sir?”
“Try and talk to all of them on there own.”
I smiled. “You’ve told me that about one hundred times already.”
“Yes, yes, now hurry up.”
Change, I told myself, wolf form will be quicker. It was easier this time, changing didn’t feel like I was having my skin ripped off.
The minute my paws touched the ground I was off, racing through the forest to the clearing were I would say hello to the agents. When I got there I ground to a halt. Ear pricked up, I sat and listened to see whether they were there.
Seems so, I thought as a black clad guard stepped out of the trees before me. My body began to grow and turn back into humanoid. As I did three more men advanced.
I stood up. “I am Sapphire Heart. I...I’m ready...” I knew my instructions, privately talk to half the vampires and convince them war was stupid.
The tallest of them stepped foreword. “I’m afraid there’s been a change of plan. You will be going in disguised as a vampire. They’re more likely to be convinced.”
Lucehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08778730694922925004noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965756110997031716.post-16550987503345620212010-11-14T11:42:00.000-08:002010-11-14T11:43:51.732-08:00Story part 2Matt

A shiver ran down my spine. The music was so spooky. I tried to gather clues over what I would have to do by studying the area around me but all I could see was some hooded figures and a well. Maybe they’d try and drown me, I thought, in human blood.
A voice rang out; I recognised it as Vladimir Creek, my old teacher. “Tonight our vampire tribe will have a new member, Mathew Ebony!”
A cheer rang out; I figured it was for a new member, not for me.
“All he has to do is one thing. I hope he doesn’t find it hard.”
A few laughs and sniggers erupted from the crowd but I knew I had to ignore them.
“As the vampire parts of you know all he will have to do is...” His voice was almost a whisper now. “...Kiss a vampire girl over The Black Well!”
I was too surprised to do anything. I had thought it would be something difficult or painful, but this...
A new figure emerged from behind the well I had seen earlier. She was wearing a short red dress that sparkled in the eerie candle-light. I recognised her at once. It was Sasha Rush. Ok, now I felt annoyed, Um...Sapphire Rush? This was every male under-the-sun’s crush except mine. Why couldn’t they pick somebody I liked? Not some stupid plastic doll.
I took a step forward, I had to or they would kick me out.Lucehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08778730694922925004noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965756110997031716.post-76575953814210898472010-11-10T15:31:00.000-08:002010-11-10T15:58:29.013-08:00Book Review

This is my Book Review of Time Riders by Alex Scarrow.

Overall I think this was an interesting, fast paced book. I loved the characters, especially Sal. She just came across as a really nice person. I also liked it because it was up to date. It talked about things that were happening now. In 2010, rather than 2005 or 2007.

There were a few things I didn't like. First of all it left a lot of things out. The amount of times "I'll tell you later" was used are too many to count! Another thing was that the story seems to have been used a lot of times before. A problem in the past and a few people have to got back and fix it....hmm...sound familiar?

So yes, if you see it in the library and don't have anything else then I would say pick it up and read it. Or if you know an 10+ year old boy, then they might like to know about it. But if you are looking for a book that will change you life, then I wouldn't recomend that would.
Lucehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08778730694922925004noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965756110997031716.post-83592066056684812442010-11-02T08:21:00.000-07:002010-11-02T08:23:59.792-07:00My Story Part 1I meant to post this ages ago!

Sapphire

I closed my eyes. I felt the creature’s sharp teeth biting through the flesh on my neck; the ripping pain was excruciating and even worse came as it began to spread around my body.
There was no getting out now, I thought, I was one...forever. My vision was stretching and I could feel something strange happening to my nails. As he started to remove his sharp teeth from the side of my neck I felt the hairs on my arms beginning to grow.
The world started wobbling like mad and it was hard to stand. It seemed natural to bend down so I put my hands on the floor and leant slowly towards them. As I did I saw the fur and I saw the long, curving claws protruding out off what five minutes ago had been hands, but now were more like paws.
I howled in terror I knew it would happen but...wait a minute, howled? The sound that had come out of my mouth only a moment ago had seemed so familiar, not something I had never done before in my life. At that moment a hunger came over me, not a savage thing like I had expected but more a craving; to run after a rabbit, feel the wind in my face and have a fun new game to play.
I howled again but his time is wasn’t of terror, it was of excitement. As my whole world was beginning to change I saw something welcoming. Ahead of me I could see the pack. I started to run towards them. Though they had been the object of many nightmares I suddenly felt like...like they were my family.
I honestly felt like I had known these wolves all my life. I ran into the middle of and it was obvious they accepted me as one of them, the way they crowded next to me and didn’t try to push me out. I smiled; finally I wad part of a group.
Lucehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08778730694922925004noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965756110997031716.post-43404710311793171202010-11-02T07:22:00.000-07:002010-11-02T07:48:04.028-07:00The Carboniferous ForestsI have just finished doing the Carboniferous period, here are some facts.

It began 362 M.Y.A.

It ended around 290 M.Y.A

It was made up of huge swamps and green scaly trees.

It was the fifth period after the Precambrian.

The first reptiles appeared. I think its time to choose a colour that is closer to the things I like now.
One of the things that I like now is vampires. I am gonna say the new type because i havn't (*blushes*) even read Dracula so I can't say I like it. (I don't particulaly like 'Twilight' either, I'm into stuff like The Vampire Diaries'... but there you go.) Bassically that why I went for the red font/black baground look. Creepy but cool...I like it, whether you do doesn't really matter I guess...

OMLG (Oh My Lady Gaga for those of you who don't know,) I just bought ALL THREE 'Mortal Instruments' books. I 'City of Bones' and i thought it was ace...seriously it rocked my world but couldn't get the second one because the library never had them in, I don't like ordering books and they are big books...you know...not cheap...BUT THANKS TO AMAZON I GOT THEM ALL FOR £10 AND THEY ARE ARIVING TOMORROW MWAHHAHAHAHAHAHA...

I seriously need to say something about 'Di4R' but I don't think I could fit it into this topic...I will post anotherone with it in. All I will say for now is...IT ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apart from that I spent most of today readingxx

LuceLucehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08778730694922925004noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965756110997031716.post-66368257702840590252010-04-22T10:11:00.000-07:002010-08-23T09:06:13.248-07:00Walk
Today we went for a walk up the hill near us. It is quite steep and has a road running up it.

On the way up we played "Nurse Who"; where there were bears coming to get us and "The Doctor's Son" had to save the day! Sounds very dramatic but I enjoyed it and I'm sure M did.
We were going to bring a camera but decided just to take binoculars instead. It was a shame really because we found loads of plants which we couldn't name but looked really familiar. They where almost like red hot pokers but they had different colours and where shorter! If we had had the camera then we could have asked people what they were.

When we reached the top there was another track which lead up to the road. It had loads of stones along the sides and must have once had a tarmac cover over the top. To the right there was a strange fenced of area that had huge bits of square stone with mettle through the middle. We thought they must have been something to do with WW2 or The Mine.

Which brings me to the mine. A little way along the track was the entrance. It was bricked up and almost hidden by the trees. Gosh; if you wanted something to remind you of The Hobbit that was it. One brick in at the top was missing but it hadn't fallen this side so we got spared from a million ghost stories by the fact that someone must have been trying to get in rather than out! For the rest of the way up we made up a story; each taking it in turn to say a line (or few.) M wanted it to have a happy ending but I was thinking the opposite! In the end I got my way and ended up dead. (It was supposed to be scary).

Here's another thing though. When we got to the road there was a barn filled with turkeys. I was totally freaked. It was exactly like one from a dream I had had. I can remember the dream pretty clearly so I don't think it was one that only got chosen out of the however-many you have each night because it related to something I had seen. It was actually one I remembered the next morning. Freaky, isn't it.

On the way back down we collected stones. I found two nice ones and M gave me a lovely piece of pottery he had found. Then we went into the strange fenced off area again to have a closer look. As we looked we thought it was quite likely to be WW2 because you could easily see stuff coming for miles. M was so lucky. He saw a grass snake in the nettles and I missed it. I found something out of the engine of a car. It was made of rusted mettle and was really heavy.

Then we walked down. No matter what the walk was like you have to admit the view from the top of that hill is spectacular! There are loads of small groups of trees and the field have beautiful contrasts between dark purple and light green.

I did really enjoy this walk. Especially as the weather was brilliant.Lucehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08778730694922925004noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965756110997031716.post-61358337880528816982010-03-17T12:31:00.000-07:002010-08-23T09:05:50.783-07:00Potatoes

Ok, I know this is a little bit late but I think I should start adding post about our "Potatoes for schools." This is going to have to be a sort of two in one post seing as I didn't posts when we first got them.
When they first arrived M and I chose which paket we would like to have. We were lucky because we each chose a different one. I got VE (Vales Emerald) and he got R (Rocket). Then we had to start chitting them. To chit a potato you have to place it in an egg box and leave it in the light for two weeks. Mine's sprouts grew slightly longer and the actual potato grew firmer so I think that went quite well.
After that we had to plant them. We put the grow bags inside old tires to steady them. Below is a picture after we had planted them.

I am really looking foreward to seeing how well this went and being able to eat our crop!
Lucehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08778730694922925004noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965756110997031716.post-33288985162155659302010-03-14T11:02:00.000-07:002010-08-23T09:07:28.013-07:00What we are doing at the moment

Hello,

Recently we have been doing some D.T. about Tutankhamun. Sound confusing? Why isn't it history?

Well, the first thing we had to do was to look through a book about him and find an object we would like to try and recreate. I chose a model, alabaster boat found in the Annexe of his tomb. Then we had to discuss what would be the best way to make it. After that all that was left to do was make it.

I think mine went really well. The colours were't as bright as I had hoped but it looks good and is very different from the original. The picture at the top is my version of the boat, the one underneath is the original.

A little while ago we did a project on time. We were asked to make a clock with any materials we could find around the house. I decided to make a water clock so I did many experiments to find the best way to make it. In the end I found that an old hanger worked best. The way I made it was simple. I hung it from an old nail outside and tied an old paint bottle filled with water one side and a small pot filled with two-ps on the other. Then theoreticaly you left the bottle to drip and after three minutes it was empty. When it was empty the end with the coins in was heavier so it would lean the other way. The problem with this was it was almost impossible to get ecxatly the right amount of water.

In the end with numb hands and a wet coat I managed it and we hung it outside for the grand opening. in total it mostly gave a time around three minutes five seconds which wasn't bad.

My favourite part of this project was probably the end when I got to show off my clock and see Myles'. He staggered under the weight of something which he placed on the floor. All eyes became fixed on it and the hall was engulfed in silence, so when he began to speak, the terrible words he uttered filled the hall. “C...commander Sweet-apple’s dead; t...that’s her body...”
Lucehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08778730694922925004noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965756110997031716.post-51362752357968660972010-02-15T10:46:00.000-08:002010-02-15T10:53:57.234-08:00My story part 1I have decided to do a story and post it on my blog. Here is the first chapter, hope you enjoy it!

Machine Warrior Magnus stomped onto the roof of his control tower. In front of him the slim figure of Commander Sweet-apple of the Freedom Fighters stood; ready for battle.
“Ah, so this is your last stand, a face off with a hulking great machine like me, on top of one of the biggest towers ever made,” Magnus mused, “how dramatic.”
“I’d hold your tongue till afterwards, maybe you won’t be so cocky then. On second thoughts maybe you won’t have a tongue left.” The commander said.
“I hear a lot of “maybes” in that sentence,” he snarled.
“Yeah well it’s not really that likely is it?”
Magnus sighed, the human was better than most of her comrades, not afraid of death and an excellent fighter. Shame she wasn’t smart enough to see the resistance would never win. He would have liked her but now she had crossed him and, like many before her, she had to die.
Without warning he slashed his huge fist towards her. She jumped back, out of the way. He tried again with the other hand, again she jumped but this time his spiked gauntlet clipped her chest. She drew her sword but blood was already starting to stain her shirt. She ran at him and with the last of her effort wacked the sword at his head. He gave her a little brush with his finger and she fell away like a leaf. He cupped his hand round her neck and picked her up. “Choose your last words carefully.”
The whisper that came out of her mouth was barely audible. “Go...to...hell,” her head drooped. Magnus threw the limp body onto the battle below.
He laughed manically, stupid humans.

More coming soon!Lucehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08778730694922925004noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965756110997031716.post-24952353068829153992009-11-30T11:13:00.000-08:002009-11-30T11:24:41.053-08:00Forgotten... We had a four cheese pizza for lunch in their Itallian cafe. After lunch we watched this realy rubbish film about the village but it kept showing pics and if you were there you could see them first hand. I think it was realy pretty and I have some pics on the camera so I will put them on at a later date =).
On the wednesday that we were there we went to Portmadog and went on a little steam train around some of the mountains. It was very interesting but the journey took three hours!

One day we went to a place called Criccieth and looked at a castle. We played on the beach for a bit and had ice-creams!

We also went to a place called King Arthur's Labrinth wich was in the mines under a mountain and was all about King Arthur (what did you expect). You traveled on a boat a then there was this Audio track playing that told you lots of diferent tales and there were lots of plastic models and cardboard figures to make it more interesting. There was one were the land flooded and a torrent of water rushed down and splashed my Mum and M =)

So that was about my time in wales (not everything 'cos that would go on for years!)

LucyLucehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08778730694922925004noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965756110997031716.post-73569700778969472132009-08-06T03:10:00.000-07:002009-08-06T03:49:34.696-07:00MovingSoz I haven't written in ages and its gonna take a lot of posts to say everything we have done!
First things first we have moved to the lovely house near Market Rasen I have talked about twice before!
LucyLucehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08778730694922925004noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965756110997031716.post-17319883436943063852009-06-11T09:04:00.000-07:002009-08-06T03:50:07.075-07:00MovingHiaa guess what: well you know that house I showed you earlier in my blog TOMORROW IS THE MOVING DAY
and I am soo excited!
Also i needed to write because i wont be able post to for quite a long time (cos we may not have broadband or something.
Seeya,
LucyLucehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08778730694922925004noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965756110997031716.post-86030919720022507962009-06-10T11:35:00.000-07:002009-06-10T11:47:51.153-07:00Kickboxing gradingHiaa,
a little while ago I took my kickboxing grading!
Its like the next level and you have to perform in front of a pannel of judges!
Hope i passed :D
LucyLucehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08778730694922925004noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965756110997031716.post-48609970164011431142009-05-17T08:50:00.000-07:002009-05-18T08:18:07.647-07:00More about LondonHiaa everybody.
As I said in my last post we have just been to London and now I am going to tell you all about it.
